Detailed Description Design And Supply Of An Inkjet Printing System For Integration On A Banknote Printing Press Of The Banque De France

This project concerns the production of an inkjet printing bar and its integration into a banknote printing press for the manufacture of Banque de France banknotes. This Project concerns the supply, installation and commissioning of the Equipment. Its objectives are: • To create a full-sheet inkjet printing system that can print security inks at standard speeds in the fiduciary sector. • Integrate this system into an existing banknote printing machine. • Carry out tests after the system has been commissioned and provide training for Banque de France agents. This contract is made up of one (1) firm tranche, two (2) Possible Additional Services (PSE) and three (3) optional tranches: Under the firm tranche, the Contractor must supply inkjet printing equipment. As a Possible Additional Service (PSE) 1, the Contractor must provide a costing for the integration of the Inkjet Printing Equipment on a banknote printing machine. As a Possible Additional Service (PSE) 2, the Contractor must provide a costing for the integration of the inkjet printing equipment on an alternative banknote printing machine. Under Optional Tranche 1, the Licensee is required to provide preventive maintenance services as well as a list of consumables required for the Inkjet Printing Equipment. Under optional tranche 2, the Contractor must provide a cost estimate for the relocation of the equipment as part of the Banque de France's Refoundation project. Under optional tranche 3, the Contractor must provide a costing for the supply and implementation of a second printing bar on a banknote machine.
