Detailed Description Development and operation of a ticket storage system for public transport, including the creation of an SDK for the tokenization of credit card information.

The VDV eTicket Service (VDV-ETS) is responsible for the German public transport standard "eTicket Deutschland." This standard provides the technical and organizational platform for operating an interoperable electronic ticketing system in public transport in Germany. In addition to developing and publishing the technical standard, establishing organizational rules for participants, and testing the components used, VDV-ETS also operates central infrastructure for the transport companies and associations participating in eTicket Deutschland. Parts of the German public transport sector aim to implement cashless ticketing on vehicles. Initial implementation projects are already in the planning or implementation phase. For these ABT/ID-based ticketing solutions and the closely integrated public transport networks, particularly in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), an interoperable ticket repository is required to verify tickets valid across regions. In the interest of the NRW Ministry of Transport and for the sake of efficient long-term implementation, a shared system is to be developed that is capable of storing ticket data and tickets in the medium term. To support German transport companies in using bank and credit card-based sales technologies, it is essential to ensure that components relevant for ticket verification are accessible to all parties involved. In this process chain, the ticket repository is the key system that stores the established link between the bank or credit card and the fare product in the form of a pseudonym (e.g., a cryptographic hash) and makes it available to participating transport companies upon request. For public transport systems that extend beyond city or network boundaries, this repository must be interoperable, highly available, standardized, and non-discriminatory. For efficient, long-term, industry-wide application, the system, in its final state, will store and make available for verification both ticket data generated during purchases via bank or credit card and other standardized ticket data.

Description : The Software Development Kit (SDK) for tokenizing credit card information (including wallets) must be implemented according to the VDV-ETS standard. This SDK generates pseudonymized tokens based on specific credit card information. It provides functions for pseudonymizing this information and securely transmitting the processed data to a calling framework or other application. The corresponding algorithms are specified by VDV-ETS. Furthermore, the SDK must be able to read credit card public keys and pseudonymize them according to the ISO 24851 standard. The specific method must be configurable via a parameter. The SDK must be available for the Windows Server, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems.
