Detailed Description	REVIVAL - Acquisition and maintenance of RFID-based automation equipment for the management and lending of collections in the media libraries of the city of Villeurbanne Projected start date of the contract. The city of Villeurbanne provides its 162,000 residents with a public library network comprised of two mobile libraries, an arts, cultural, and scientific education service, and three media libraries: the Maison du livre de l'image et du son (House of Books, Images, and Sound), the Tonkin Media Library, and the Rize Media Library. With 16,628 active users and 330,000 loanable items in all formats (books, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, games, etc.), these facilities operate as a network using the Syracuse document management system (Archimed) and process approximately 1.7 million loan and return transactions annually. The project involves implementing an RFID self-service system for borrowing materials in the three media libraries, meeting the expectations and needs of both the public and professionals.
