Detailed Description Processing and archiving of photographs for the electronic health card

The electronic health card (eGK) has served as proof of eligibility for Mobil Krankenkasse's services since January 1, 2015. Mobil Krankenkasse (hereinafter also referred to as the client) requires a photograph from all insured persons aged 15 and older for the eGK. The process for obtaining the photograph involves the client sending a written request to the client's insured persons to submit a photograph (hereinafter also referred to as "photo," "image," or "picture"), followed by the processing of the photograph by the service provider. The written request asks the client to upload the photograph online via an upload module. Alternatively, the insured person can download a form personalized with a QR code from the client's website, print it out, and affix the passport-sized photograph to it. In individual cases, the employer can also send the insured person a personalized form (using a QR code) for affixing a passport-sized photograph by mail, upon request. The form is then returned directly to the contractor for further processing. This paradigm shift (digital instead of analog) aims to establish modern processes and present the employer as a contemporary company. Furthermore, the described procedure meets sustainability requirements and saves CO2 emissions and postage costs. A 90% ratio of digital to analog images is targeted. Customers should have the option of uploading their photograph themselves via an upload module. They can take a photo directly with their smartphone or webcam. An existing image can also be uploaded. This tender concerns services for processing and archiving digital and analog photographs for the electronic health card (eGK). The handling of the dispatch of the photo request letters (initial request, 1st reminder, 2nd reminder, correction request, consequence letter) is carried out directly by the contracting authority or its postal service provider and is therefore not part of the tendering procedure.
