Detailed Description Supply, installation and commissioning of an intelligent urban management system through an e-ticketing system that allows the payment of travel tickets, including by bank card, within the public means of passenger transport within the project Development of the intelligent urban management system at the level of Alba Iulia Municipality through an e-ticketing system - PNRR.

Alba Iulia Municipality is implementing, as a leader, the project "Development of the intelligent urban management system at the level of Alba Iulia Municipality through an e-ticketing system that allows payment of travel tickets including with a bank card", financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of Romania, Component 10 - Local Fund, Subinvestment I.1.2 - Ensuring infrastructure for green transport - ITS/other ICT infrastructures. Project objective: The project aims to acquire at least 110 intelligent payment validators that allow including payment with a bank card at the level of all means of public transport serving Alba Iulia municipality. The validators will be installed in the means of public transport serving Alba Iulia municipality. Implementation period: 20.02.2023 - 20.05.2026 (approx. 39 months, calculated from the date of signing by the last contracting party). Total project budget: The total value of the project is 5,291,902.5 lei (representing eligible expenses provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan), to which is added VAT in the amount of 1,005,461.48 lei, representing expenses provided by the state budget. Project activities: The project implementation process will follow the following stages: ● Ensuring project management;
● Carrying out public procurement of the project;
● Obtaining approvals;
● Purchasing an integrated and intelligent validator system at the level of public transport means, which involves upgrading the current smart payment systems for travel tickets;
● Carrying out the necessary works to install and put into operation the 110 dual validators that also allow payment by bank card;
● Training sessions for the staff who will manage the new equipment - at the operator level and the staff of Alba Iulia Municipality;
● Ensuring monitoring and evaluation of the project. The number of days until which clarifications may be requested before the deadline for submission of tenders is 18 days. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarifications on the 11th day before the deadline for submission of tenders.
