Detailed Description E-Ticketing system needed to improve public passenger transport in the Timișoara metropolitan area

The contract to be awarded involves the provision of a new e-ticketing system with the following characteristics: - To have a cloud solution available at least in a public cloud;
- To have a data and processing infrastructure that must correspond to a complete, secure system, available 24/7 with data and service architecture in a public cloud and, optionally, in a local data center, as well as a disaster recovery plan. This disaster plan must be scripted, operable on demand, testable upon delivery and in a real context at least once every 6 months;
- To use the latest technologies in the field of charging, fleet monitoring, distribution of audio-video content on screens and anti-fraud solutions;
- To use technologies that expose data through APIs between components. Any COTS will have data exposed through an open API, and the data is the property of the contracting authority;
- To provide a public web platform for managing ABT accounts and planning;
- To provide the services offered to citizens as an integral part of the single portal platform cont.primariatm.ro which is the property of the contracting authority;
- To provide integration with the Timișoara City Hall portal, (cont.primariatm.ro) with singlesign-on (SSO) authentication where cont.primariatm.ro is the source of the authentication functionality;
- To provide a mobile application option for citizens (end user) for managing ABT accounts, planning trips and validating the trip;
- To provide easy options (implemented with/on a smart phone, with camera and NFC payment system) for validating trips by controllers;
- To allow interconnections and secure data extraction with other platforms of the contracting authority;
- Provide integration with the European SynchroniCity platform (https://www.synchronicityiot.eu/knowledge/technical-framework/)
- Provide integration with the FIWARE platform (https://www.fiware.org/about-us/) FIWARE is an open-source platform that facilitates the development of smart applications for various domains, including smart cities. It provides a set of reusable components, known as Generic Enablers (GEs), that allow the collection, management and analysis of data in real time.
